Quality judgments in patient surveys

Patient surveys are essential for securing and improving the quality of health services. Based on the particularities of the doctor-patient relationship, Yasemin Mehmet shows what expectations patients have of medical consultations and what constitutes quality from the patient's point of view. In an empirical study, she analyzes what experiences patients have in hospitals and where patients see strengths and weaknesses in health services. Finally, the author shows the perspectives of patient surveys.
