What guarantee does Jensen have?

Jensen grants a full five-year guarantee as well as a 25-year guarantee against defects in the chassis or springs. Beds purchased before this period were guaranteed for 15 years against defects in the base or springs.

Which degree of hardness should I choose?

There is no such thing as a bed that is suitable for everyone. Important factors when buying a bed are your height, weight and build. If you want to sleep in two in one bed, you also need to consider the needs of both of you. Contact an authorized Jensen dealer in your area, they will provide you with comprehensive advice and support. Our salespeople are well trained in sleeping and lying comfort so that you can make the right choice.

Jensen's beds feel softer than other beds I've tried. Why is that?

It is well known that a bed that is too hard not only supports the body in the wrong places, but also affects the quality of sleep. Most of the time, when you try a Jensen bed for the first time, you sit on it. This does not give you the right impression of what support the bed offers. To get the full picture, you need to lie on your side or on your back on the bed. Jensen's zone system ensures that your shoulders and hips sink into the mattress and your body gets the support it needs for a good night's sleep.

Our beds are all equipped with the Jensen Original Zone System, which provides your body with adequate support when you sleep and rest. A zoned mattress ensures that your spine is as straight as possible in any posture as your hips and shoulders sink into the mattress while your waist and lower back are properly supported. Whether you are lying on your back or on your side, the result is always the same.

To try out the comfort of the bed, it is not enough just to sit on the edge. You need to lie on your side or on your back on the bed.

I've been sleeping on my new mattress for a while now, but I'm in pain all over the place. Is that normal?

Experience has shown that it takes a while for the body to get used to a new bed. Fatigue in the back is not uncommon in the first week. This is because your muscles and joints have to adapt to the new surface. But that's only temporary.

I've been sleeping on my new mattress for a while now and have the feeling that my body is getting warmer at night. Is that normal?

In a Jensen bed you will feel an even pressure relief all over your body. This causes better blood flow and can feel like your body is getting warmer at night. That feeling will pass. You may also have new bedding that does not have good ventilation properties.

Why is my mattress getting bumps and dents?

Our mattresses are equipped with elastic filling materials that adapt to the contours of the body. After a certain time, you will therefore notice how bumps are forming in the mattress. It is perfectly normal. This does not affect the support and load-bearing capacity of the mattress. Jensen's springs are all hardened and retain their quality for the life of the bed.

I heard I had to turn my mattress. Is that true and why do I have to do that?

We recommend turning the main mattress four times a year to make it last longer. The zones at the head and foot end are arranged in the same way. So if you have two mattresses with different degrees of firmness, you have to turn them lengthways so that you don't have to change the sides of the bed.

How do I have to clean my bed?

We recommend that you ventilate and / or vacuum the bed regularly. The (white) covers of the lying surfaces can all be washed at 60 ° C. The upholstery fabric on the sides and on the headboard can be cleaned with a mild foam cleaner. We recommend that you buy the cleaning agent from your local furniture dealer. Follow the instructions for use on the detergent.

How do I take care of my mattress topper?

We recommend SoftProtect for easy maintenance of the mattress topper. The protective layer of the topper is made of stretch material and is breathable and dirt-repellent at the same time. Unfortunately, SoftProtect somewhat affects the effect of TempSmart toppers.

The cover of the mattress topper can be washed at 60 ° C. Use the detergent sparingly and spin the cover on a gentle cycle. Pull the cover into shape while damp and hang it up to dry immediately to avoid discoloration of the fabric. Ventilating and vacuuming the mattresses is recommended, as is regular shaking and turning. Protect the filling materials from heat and direct sunlight when airing / drying.

I washed the cover of the mattress topper according to regulations, but it shrank. What now?

Separate the parts of the cover and wash the parts again individually. Pull the parts into shape while damp. After drying, pull the entire cover into shape again and then put the filling back in. After a few days, the cover has returned to its original size.

How do I clean my bedside cabinet or the SitOn bed bench?

Lacquered furniture has a robust surface that can be easily wiped off with a damp cloth. If a stain has already penetrated, it is best to use green soap and a well-wrung cloth. Do not use any abrasive or solvent-based cleaning agents. We recommend that you buy a cleaning agent from your local furniture dealer.

My bed is creaking. What now?

The creaking can be caused by several things. Make sure the feet are properly bolted under the bed. Friction between the feet and the ground can be prevented by attaching felt washers to the feet or by replacing them. Check whether the head of the bed is too close to the wall or whether the storage compartment under the bed is the cause. With adjustable beds, humidity and room temperature can affect the bed. If necessary, grease the rotating parts and bearings of the bed. Use silicone spray 5-56 or something similar.

My adjustable bed can no longer be raised and lowered. What now?

1. Check that all cables and sockets are working.
2. Check whether the plug is in the socket.
3. Change the batteries in the remote control.

What is the difference between a reversible mattress, a bed frame, a continental bed and an adjustable bed?

The reversible mattress is the main mattress in our continental and adjustable beds. This can also be easily placed in an existing bed frame. In addition to our reversible mattresses, the frame mattress is the simplest in the Jensen range. It has a sturdy frame and is used for bed frames, as a free-standing bed on Jensen feet or together with a Jensen Mistral frame.

A continental bed from Jensen offers the best lying comfort. The bed has double mattresses with three separate Jensen Pocket suspension systems.

With an adjustable Jensen bed, the bed gets a completely new function and offers various possibilities to make yourself comfortable as well as the option to adjust the height of the head and foot end.
