For more than a decade, I've explored the best ways people can live happily. And last year I even wrote a book about happiness: Outsmart Your Smartphone: Conscious Tech Habits to Find Happiness, Balance, and Connection IRL. While there are tons of things you can do to have a happier life, I've narrowed our focus to the 10 skills you can build that I believe are most important to increasing happiness. As you build these skills you can begin to live happily ever after.

You wouldn't bake a cake without a recipe. You wouldn't go anywhere you've never been without a card. Nor should you try to build happiness without a plan. Creating a good happiness plan will take you from your current location to the happy life you envision.
