With its small thickness, the material is quite heavy - 5 kg per square meter. And as we know, the soundproofing index depends directly on the mass of the layer. Elasticity, moisture resistance and flexibility ensure a vinyl film that is produced with the addition of mineral dust - precisely this component and sound-insulating properties.

Charged vinyl prevents the propagation of noise with a force of 25 dB. If you double the material thickness, the sound insulation increases to 32 dB. However, please note - no material is able to produce high-quality sound insulation in proud solitude. This is the nature of sound - when it goes through layered structures it quickly loses its strength.

You can attach charged vinyl to the walls in a number of ways: carnations, staplers, and at the very least, pins. But the most reliable is to glue the material to the wall. It is best to use quick drying glue that can hold a lot of weight.

In addition to the sound block, you can add panels or cork sheets. This natural material has a unique porous and at the same time very dense structure. In addition to the soundproofing index, the cork has a noise absorption coefficient of up to 0.3 in the range from 0 to 1. Like vinyl, the cork itself will not achieve the desired effect, but in combination with other materials, silence in the room will be possible. It is best if there is at least a small millimeter of air between the vinyl membrane and the cork - this is very important with soundproof structures.

The life of a large family is certainly filled with much ado of their own authorship. But there come moments when every family member quietly wants to retire - someone to work, someone to study, and someone just alone. In this case, the interior noise protection must be fitted. You should start with small jobs: kit tears and cracks, insulate the hole for the socket, make the door trim. Installation begins with preparing the base. Old wallpaper should be removed, pulled out, or hammered into all of the cloves. Each ZIPS panel has several (4 to 8) vibration nodes via which the panels are to be mounted on the wall. Installation begins from the bottom up - the product is attached to the wall, and through vibration nodes holes up to 6 cm deep are drilled, into which plastic dowels are inserted, and screws and washers are screwed. Dowels should be driven into the hole as deep as possible. The screw head should be recessed 2 mm into the surface of the plate. The sandwich panels are connected to one another via a tongue and groove connection and can also be attached with self-tapping screws. If necessary, the panel is cut with a jigsaw or hacksaw with a small tooth, a layer of cotton is cut with scissors.

The cheapest and most effective way to get rid of noise in a wood is to do a series of soundproofing work on the floor, ceiling and walls, not to mention small details like pipes, cracks and sleeves. Although it's small, you should start with. In particular, in prefabricated houses, sockets can be inserted into through holes in the wall, through which you can perfectly hear even the usual conversation of the neighbors.

Problematic plinths should be disassembled and pushed into the hole with mineral wool or cut out of the plate, depending on the diameter of the hole, the washer that will be inserted under the plinth. For a better effect, the puck should also be putted. However, when the neighbors are very noisy, it is sometimes better to remove the sockets from the wall next to their apartment.

Heating and water pipes can serve as excellent transmitters of sound vibrations if they did not take care to lay at least one layer of vibration isolation during their installation.

This is exactly what happens in most panel houses. Hence, you need to correct this error. The best way is to hammer the plaster and concrete around the pipe at least a few inches and fill the space with acoustic sealant. As a quick but less effective solution, simply place a sheet wrapped in a layer of vibration isolation from the side of the wall under the pipe.

The standard soundproofing structure looks like this: a plasterboard box is stuffed on the walls and ceiling, the space between the box is filled with a layer of 5-10 cm of mineral wool covered with drywall. It is important to strictly fix the elements of the box by a vibration isolation layer and to leave a small space at the ends so that the box does not adjoin the side walls. This thickness of the soundproofing of the walls blocks almost all noise.

Floating bottom - the fastest and most effective way out with noisy neighbors from below. The bars are placed on a flat surface (through a layer of vibration isolation!) That are not attached and do not touch the walls from the end. The rods can be placed on a glass wool mat for an added effect, but in either case the space between them is filled with basalt wool. Two-layer GVL panels are then attached to the crate, and you can already apply the top coat on top.

Suitable for structures with a density of 600-800 kg / m³, a thickness of 80-100 mm. The smaller thickness is insufficient in terms of sound insulation and boom strength. However, the walls of the foam blocks need to be plastered. Because of this, it will be difficult to create a small decorative niche, since you will have to cut blocks and plaster the surface.

Partitions made of Ceramsit concrete are moisture-proof and durable, but they do not differ in the stability of the geometric dimensions. Such masonry is carried out only by professionals, and in any case it is necessary to level the surfaces with rather thick layers of stucco.

Made of tongue and groove plasterboard

Plaster of paris tongue and groove sheets are larger than foam blocks, but you can use them to create decorative niches. Thanks to the groove-comb connection, the structures are stable. You don't need any reinforcement, just anchor to the walls and reinforce the corners with plaster corners made of galvanized steel. The disadvantage of the material is that it is difficult to saw. Therefore, during assembly, it is necessary to remove grooves and burrs, and then reinforce the masonry with reinforcing rods or plates. But the walls made of foam blocks let steam through, that is, breathe. In addition, gypsum contains water and acts as a regulator of the humidity regime in rooms with normal humidity.

Tongue and groove plasterboard weighs significantly more than concrete blocks and is therefore only suitable for houses whose floors are designed for a distributed load of more than 800 kg / m2.

Another disadvantage is the high elasticity. This creates a drum effect - a relatively low level of sound insulation at frequencies of 100-200 Hz.

Partitions with a pocket for a sliding door are usually made of drywall. It can be based on a factory case from profiles of a special section. The design offers the option to adjust the height of the blade.

Porous ceramics

Porous ceramic blocks are 2–2.5 times lighter than bricks and at the same time hold the fasteners well. If you use chemical anchors, wall installations can even be mounted on a 130 mm thick wall.

The large format of the blocks accelerates the masonry, grooves and ridges on the lateral ends reinforce the partition wall and the ribbed surface ensures reliable adhesion to the plaster layer.

The disadvantages of porous blocks include relatively high water absorption. This problem can be solved with the help of waterproofing primer and cement plaster.

Plasterboard

It practically does not burden the ground, does not require laborious work and allows for the trouble-free laying of wires and pipes.

In recent years, instead of the usual fastening with self-tapping screws, notches are used more often: a hole with curved edges in two contact walls of the profiles is made with a special tool that resembles ticks. Fastening through a notch speeds up installation, in addition, there are no protruding screw caps on the frame, and a sheet of drywall lies perfectly evenly on top of it. But when fastening with a notch, it is more difficult to correct errors, in addition, it is less durable, so it is important to observe the required pitch of the self-tapping screws - 250 mm.

Sound insulation of a single-layer partition

Basically, the soundproofing of such walls directly depends on how much space you want to sacrifice. Since such structures already have a large mass and thickness, it is recommended to use thin soundproof panels for reasons of space. Do you remember the carpet on the wall. Of course, nobody is going to use this method right now, but it is not necessary. The Izotex and Isoplat product lines have exactly the same properties.

Option 1 - Isotex

This is the easiest way to soundproof. The partition wall is lined with Izotex decorative panels on both sides. Sound insulation of a multilayer partition wall

A soundproof "cake" can be constructed in different ways, using the frame or, for example, a tongue and groove plate (from 80 mm) as a base. In any case, the effectiveness also depends on the thickness of the materials, their mass and filling.

Option 1 - neighborhood

When using a tongue and groove plate between the partition and the supporting wall, an elastic abutment is installed - the Isoplat heat and sound insulation board. This method increases the sound insulation coefficient Rw of the entire structure to 41 dB.

Option 2 - stove, isoplat and hyproc

The basis in this design is again the tongue and groove plate. First mdvp Isoplat is installed on two sides and a gyro above it. In this case the gyro takes on the function of sound reflection and Isoplat sound absorption. For the best effect, install several Isoplat plates in front of the top.

Option 3 - giprok, isoplat and insulation

In order to be able to use this option, you must install a frame in which there is a heater (linen or at least cotton wool). At the same time, the insulation should be as natural and "breathable" as possible, as the other simply does not let air through and therefore absorbs sound waves in a high-quality way. Next, the insulation is closed with an Isoplat plate and then with a Hydrocom. Despite the fact that this design has a low overall weight, thick, high-quality insulation has good soundproofing properties and does not allow noise to enter the next room.

Izotex decorative panels can also be installed on any of the above sound insulation schemes of a multilayer construction. They will not be superfluous, as in any case the Gypro will have to be decorated and the panels will provide acoustic comfort. As a result, you will have a warm partition that will protect you from third-party sounds.
