The Indonesian authorities announced on July 10, 2020 that visa extensions would have to be applied for in the regular way.

All non-Indonesian nationals within Indonesia with an expired / expiring visa have been recognized by 20th August 2020 asked to either have their visa extended by the immigration authorities or to leave Indonesia.


If you have not followed this rule, overstay fees may apply (1 million IDR / day) or you may be expelled.


Please note that only the Indonesian authorities can give you binding information on entry and visa regulations in Indonesia.
