Hopefully, at least the streaming native to the system will be retained. And not like Twitch has to install a third-party app.
Twitch is just mn not good to use either. Neither as a streamer nor as a viewer. Last seen a FIFA tournament on Twitch and cursed all the time. That the chat is not saved, for example, that it was often not clear to me whether it was "live", etc.
The fact that Twitch is always 30-60 seconds delayed, while Mixer was real time and was about 10 seconds delay was also important to me ...

I've never watched gaming on Facebook, although I'm not the gaming watcher either way. But I don't see a great future there either.
Money burned with the 2 named streamers who go 100pro back to Twitch because there is more money to be made there.

This is actually my first time reading about facebook gaming.
But I'm not a streaming viewer at all.
The name Shroud doesn't even tell me anything ^^
And Ninja only tells me something because his recent rant against the lazy gamers got through the media.

I may have used Twitch twice, but the overview and operation had put me off pretty much.

Yeah yeah i know i'm old ...

No cost too great. No mind to think. No will to break. No voice to cry suffering.

At last! That was condemned to death from the start and the name "Mixer" was just stupid and only a horror for search engines! Mixer is against Twitch and Youtube like the Windows Phone against Android and Apple!

It's a shame about the money that has been blown up the buttocks of these overrated stream stars. But I think it's great that you pulled the rip cord here relatively quickly, that was just a waste of money!

The technology behind Mixer will certainly be able to absorb it. And the focus should now be entirely on the Series X or Xbox and their own studios. If I am happy, this "attempt" has now come to an end.

I feel almost exactly the same, only that I found out from Ninja through the message that Microsoft had hired him for a lot of money for Mixer and I'm not old. ^^

Have subtly adjusted your throw-in so that it fits my opinion of Microsoft.
(But it's primarily because I've recently been forced to use O365 with two different accounts. Fun for the whole family, I tell you. That's when you know what you have.)

Otherwise this message does not surprise me a bit. Maybe the speed at which they saw it.
