Climate in Russia

The climate in Russia is due to the huge extent not uniform. There is an arctic climate as well as cold and cool temperate and subtropical climates on the Black Sea coast.

The Ice climate in the polar zone prevails in northern Russia, e.g. on the Islands of the Northern Arctic Ocean. The winters in this region are long, very cold.
