Teachers treat ugly students better

“No, please not again,” echoes through your head when an ugly five decorates your math work? That makes you angry and sad. You can get annoyed for a moment, but then solutions have to be found. We'll tell you how to find them.
Bad grades can really spoil your mood for a long time. And the pressure rises and rises and with it the panic of the next exam or the next certificate. Of course you can get angry for a moment and be angry with yourself or with a teacher, but you do not change anything. Burning exercise books or crying for days will not undo bad grades either.
Don't bury your head in the sand
So after you've pulled your head out of the sand and gritted your teeth, you should take a close look at your grades and the respective subjects.
Ask yourself why the grade or the grades are so bad: Have you prepared yourself enough for the exams or it could have been an extra hour? Are there problems with a teacher or maybe with classmates? Are you getting too much distracted? Or do you just not open your mouth at school, so that the overall grades go downhill?
If you have already thought about the situation on your own, you can also talk to your parents about this topic in a structured and calm manner. Perhaps then the fear of coming home with this not very attractive certificate paper is not that great. Finally, you can show your parents that you've already made up your own mind.
Talking is gold
Do not hide the result from your parents, they will get wind of your grades at the next parenting day at the latest. Try to find a convenient time to calmly talk to them about your grades. They won't rip your head off, parents didn't write all ones either. Make it clear to them that you are suffering from the grades and that you really want to improve. Perhaps you can show them one or the other cause from which you can work out a measure together.
Solutions on the gold platter
If it's a particular subject, you could think about tutoring that suits you and that might help. However, if you feel you have been treated unfairly by a teacher, you could ask your parents to come and talk to them. Of course, you can also go to your teacher yourself and ask how the grade came about and how you can improve. In this way you show that you are by no means indifferent to the censorship and that you are trying to do better next time.
There is a solution for everything, and often it comes out of a conversation when many people are looking for it.
Rock the next notes
Don't let bad grades demotivate you. No master has fallen from heaven yet and you can take the next opportunity to show what you can do and that you are trying. Follow your teacher's advice. Learn with classmates who are better than you in the respective subject or if you have been too shy in class until now, overcome your shyness and sign up from time to time. You will see: Practice makes perfect. And then the next grade or certificate will definitely look better.
