Will God save us all

Can God redeem me or save me?

The question, "Can God save me?" Has been asked by millions of people over the years. God can not only redeem one, but he is that Only onewho can redeem. To understand why the answer to "Can God save me?" Is "yes!" we must first understand why we need this salvation in the first place. When Adam disobeyed God in the Garden of Eden, his sin poisoned the rest of creation (Romans 5:12), and this sinful lineage that we have inherited separates us from God. But because of God's great love for us, God had a plan (Genesis 3:15). He would come to earth as a human being in the person of Jesus Christ and willingly sacrifice his life for us, taking the punishment we deserve. When our Savior cried on the cross, “It is finished!” (John 19:30), the debt of sin was paid forever and in full. Jesus Christ saved us from certain death and from a terrible and ungodly eternity.

In order for us to benefit from Christ's atonement, we must trust him and his sacrifice alone as payment for sin (John 3:16; Acts 16:31). And God will - the moment we do this - cover us with the righteousness of Christ (Romans 3:22). But without this righteousness given (covering our sin), we could never face the holy God (Hebrews 10: 19-25).

Our salvation affects more than our fate in eternity; “Being redeemed” also has an immediate impact. The good news is that Christ's finished work on the cross saved us from eternal separation from God; he also redeemed us from the power that sin has over us in this life. When we accept Christ, his spirit fills us and we are no longer controlled by the sinful nature. This freedom gives us the opportunity to say "no" to sin and thus to overcome our slavery to sinful and carnal desires who is not his ”(Romans 8: 9).

It doesn't matter who you are or what you've done. Jesus Christ came to earth to save sinners (1 Timothy 1:15) and we are all sinners (Romans 3:23). None of us are beyond the reach of God's redeeming grace (Isaiah 59: 1). The apostle Paul is a great example of God's far-reaching grace. Paul spent the first part of his life hating Christians, persecuting them, imprisoning them and killing them. Then an encounter with Jesus Christ made Paul one of the greatest Christian missionaries who ever lived. If God can redeem Paul (1 Timothy 1:15), “the leader of sinners,” then He can redeem everyone.

Humanity is the crown jewel of God's creation, made in his image (Genesis 1:26). God desires that we are all redeemed (1 Timothy 2: 4) and none of us should perish (2 Peter 3: 9; Ezekiel 18:32). God gives those who believe in Jesus' name the right to become his children (John 1:12). And what God does for his children is described in Psalm 91: “He loves me, therefore I will save him; he knows my name, that's why I want to protect him. He calls on me, so I will answer him; / I'm with him in need, I want to tear him out and bring him to honor. I want to satisfy him with a long life and show him my salvation ”” (Psalm 91: 14-16).
