i want to drive a more powerful motor with my mobile phone cricket via a relay. The following problems arose: 1. The mobile phone cricket supplies alternating current (125hz) and not direct current as I wanted on the oscilloscope.
2. The inertia of the relay is not big enough that it switches back and forth all the time.
to solve the problem i want to connect a compensator in parallel.
the voltage must always remain above 3.5V so that the relay switches.
so my question to you is whether you can give me a tip as to what kind of compensator i can use there.

Do I understand correctly, you want to connect a relay to the motor output? (Ud the more powerful motor on it)
If a PWM comes out of the motor output, the relay may not be able to switch.
Unfortunately I have no idea about the board or the logo ...
Can't you just switch the output all the way through using the program?


I have the cricket, 5 volts come out ... then the relay comes and then a stronger motor is to be connected
the problem is, alternating current comes from the cricket and the relay reacts to it. and now i want to use the compensator to pretend the relay is getting direct current ^^
and what kind of compensator i need for this i would like to know

Hi Jay,

you can simply charge an electrolytic capacitor via a Schottky diode and, if necessary, a small resistor to limit the current (5-22 ohms or similar, I don't know your circuit). Then you get a DC voltage with which you can switch the relay. The capacity of the electrolytic capacitor depends on the current consumption of the relay etc. But it's not that critical. Try around a little, I would start with 100µF. It may also have to be 1000µF, or even 47µF, just try how smooth your DC voltage will be.


Thank you for your help, but when the cricket is programmed to level 8, the direct current has and thus the relay switches and now I don't need a capacitor anymore
