Few ingredients, lots of taste: all you need for our Brigadeiros recipe is butter, cocoa, sweetened condensed milk and chocolate sprinkles. And with our praline special you can nibble your way through the whole world of delicious little balls.
400g condensed milk, sweetened
1 tablespoon butter
2 tablespoons cocoa powder
100g chocolate sprinkles
Heat the condensed milk and butter in a saucepan and stir together. Add cocoa powder and whisk well. Bring gently to a boil, stirring constantly. Reduce the heat and stir for about 15 minutes, until the mixture can be removed from the bottom of the pan.
Let the mixture cool down briefly. Scatter the chocolate sprinkles on a deep plate.
Grease your hands with butter, shape the mixture into small balls and roll them in the chocolate sprinkles. Place in praline molds and leave to cool in the fridge until ready to be eaten.

The Brigadeiros recipe is one of the Brazilian specialties, in the South American country the chocolate confectionery has been eaten since the 1940s. In the meantime, you could be lucky on vacation in Portugal and get Brazilian brigadeiros there! Another Latin American dessert for which you hardly need any ingredients and only need a little patience when stirring is dulce de leche: This specialty is made from cream, milk and sugar.
