How compressed is music that is played via Spotify

You can report the following content to our team for investigation:

  • Songs with inappropriate content
  • Offensive or offensive content
  • Broken or incorrect content

Note: We take complaints about customer content very seriously. Misuse of this process can result in the relevant Spotify account being closed.

Broken or incorrect content

If a song or album does not play correctly on Spotify or the information (title, cover, release date) is incorrect, you can report it to us.

First check if the problem is technical:

  • Make sure your app is up to date.
  • Play the song on another device or via our web player.
  • Play the song using a different WiFi or data connection.

If it is not a technical problem:

  1. Open our contact form.
  2. Choose Report song / album with error.
  3. Click on I STILL NEED HELP.

Note: Contact your label or distributor for help with problems with your music.

Pictures, playlists or text

Insulting or hurtful pictures, playlists or texts that have been added to Spotify by other listeners or artists can be reported via the app.

  1. From a playlist or artist profile, tap (iOS) or (Android).
  2. Tap Report abuse. A form will open in your browser.
  3. Fill out the form and tap Send.

  2. Choose Report out. A form will open in your browser.
  3. Fill out the form and tap Send.

Each report is examined on a case-by-case basis. We cannot respond directly to every report, but will decide at our own discretion and remove unsuitable content.
