Mobile surfing abroad with data passports

If retrieving emails or searching the Internet with your tariff becomes too expensive, you can book so-called data passes from various providers. These are temporarily booked on your tariff and then offer you the use of a limited data volume for a certain period of time. For example, you can purchase data passes for a day or a week with a volume of 50 MB to 1 GB and use them in Albania.

You can get offers and detailed instructions on how to buy and activate the data passes from your providers. Note, however, that this only applies to contract customers, prepaid customers use a different method. You can find links to the most important providers here:

Danger!

Pay close attention to how you have to activate the data pass. With some providers, you first activate data roaming and then go to a special website. With others, on the other hand, you first activate the data passes via SMS and only then switch on data roaming.

Save money with Albanian prepaid cards

Do you not only want to surf the web when you are abroad, but also want to make phone calls? Then it can make sense to purchase an Albanian prepaid card, especially in long-distance travel countries.
