Again after a long time, and yet again immediately enthusiastic: Year of No Light - Outside WorldThorFromBahnhof, 05/05/2018 12:37 AM #

It's really great. But also the only YONL that completely impressed me.

Today something light for in between:

Ignite - A Place Called Home (yes I know Zoli's voice is a matter of taste, but I still consider him one of the best punk / HC singers ever)

And just try again for
Brutus - burst (at least I'll see them twice in the next 6 weeks, once as an opener for Russian Circles, once for Thrice - but I think that the pairings somehow fit very well)

and at the same time, because I always get it with Brutus and the album:
Burst - Lazarus Bird - here is a sample song from the tube (I still rave about the line-up Cult of Medeia, Bison, Burst and The Ocean)

haven't they set fire to you yet? live definitely awesome. and the lyrics are one of the best things you can get - baby seal e.g. if it weren't really so sad, I can still crumble myself ... she cries cause she's sad ...

I saw them live at the Groez last year and I really liked them, they were excellently placed in front of Oathbreaker and Deafheaven (by the way, I wish that as a club package, but it doesn't matter), then the record Bought place and yes, quite good, but not as ignited as live.
I don't know why either, actually all elements are present that would inspire me.

To the thread:
Too good for people in the dark, that's why Descendents - once through the discography and back. Still one of the best bands of all time. Point.
Here is my dearest, also because it was the first time that I had her really on my screen.

My first punk record.

Thank you Drunken!
Now something completely different, because it is the singer's birthday today:
Clann Zú - Black Coats and Bandages

and then his solo debut
Declan De Barrá - Song of a Thousand Birds (Here's one of the greatest songs on this already all killer, no filler album. It always has a nice, warm and yet somber note for me, it's a shame that he is "only" a script writer today, soon for a Marvel -Series, if I followed that correctly. I saw the paying guests in Frankfurt for HANDGEZÄHLT 12, but still got goose bumps)

Clann Zú I've been celebrating for a long time. Didn't know about a solo, just listen. Thanks!

Quite different, definitely calmer, fewer outbursts. But definitely worth it. I even use one of the songs quite often at work.

Russian Circles - Station (slowly listening to me through the - in my opinion sensational - discography, as I will see it live for the first time next Friday! Incidentally, still have two of the mega-cheap tickets for Lohr left, if anyone is interested?)

Hey Pixi, this is a favorite album .
That was my first serious LP. I still think it's great today. What you get out of the templates on page 2 is fantastic. Almost new songs .
Unfortunately, he has lost this talent in the meantime. His last record only has such arrangements and unfortunately it is not worth mentioning .

@Cracker. I haven't had the plate on my plate in ages. I didn't think that it would drag me along. Only hits delivered and a lot of good memories awakened. I didn't even follow the later works.

I think I can still sing along to all of them. Sometimes the memories are just as great as the music. Actually priceless and nowhere else to get what you associate with music.
I just meant the last record, lone arranger. I bought it with great expectations, but unfortunately that is nothing more. There is a lot to discover on the later Earthband discs, even if not quite as ingenious as before. I love this song more than anything. I'll give up when The Spacelords have finished playing.

MANFRED MANNS EARTHBAND - Buddha

Thank you for remembering .
