The college city of San Diego

San Diego is the second largest city in the state of California and the seventh largest in the United States.

It is often referred to as "America's finest city" because of its pleasant climate, because the annual average temperature is 21 ° C and there is little rainfall.

Los Angeles is only a two and a half hour drive away, and Tijuana in Mexico is only half an hour. To the west lies the Pacific Ocean with its beaches, and the area is particularly popular with surfers. To the east, snow-capped mountains form a natural boundary. Despite the great ethnic and cultural diversity among the approximately 1.25 million inhabitants, the city is considered one of the safest places in the USA and is known for its openness and hospitality.

It never gets boring there, as the range of leisure activities is huge: You can visit Balboa Park, for example, because there are many museums there, such as the Museum of Art or the Aerospace Museum. Those who do not want to be culturally active in their free time have the opportunity to visit the world-famous San Diego Zoo, Sea World or Legoland California.

Of course, this is only a minimal part of the wide range that San Diego has to offer. In the evenings, the Gaslamp District or one of the many beach bars are particularly popular with students to end the day in peace before diving into the nightlife.
