What is the cake in crab cake

A delicious recipe. The snack contains the following ingredients: fish, crabs ((a 170 g),), butter, flour, milk, lemon (breaded), breadcrumbs, fresh coriander ((15 g), chopped leaf), sunflower oil and chilli sauce.


  1. Drain the crab. Heat the butter in a saucepan, add 20 g of flour and stir for 2 minutes over low heat until a uniform mass is formed. Pour in the milk and continue stirring until the whole is thickened. Cook over low heat for 5 minutes. Take the pan off the heat and mix 1 tablespoon of lemon juice, breadcrumbs and half of the coriander into the crab. Season with salt and pepper.
  2. Form 12 flat crab cakes from the mixture with damp hands. Sprinkle a plate with the remaining flour and roll the biscuits through. Beat off the excess flour.
  3. Heat the oil in a pan and fry the biscuits for 2-3 minutes until golden brown and crispy. Turn halfway over to drain on kitchen paper.
  4. Mix the chilli sauce with 1 tablespoon of water, 1 tablespoon of lemon juice and the remaining coriander. Serve the crab cakes with the chili sauce.
