The individual case of winter tires

You can choose a lower speed index for winter tires. In general, it is recommended to choose tires with the next lower speed index. E.g. if you drive with index V in summer, you can choose index H in winter.

What does the abbreviation ZR mean?

The abbreviation ZR applies to tires over 240 km / h. This category contains the speed index W and Y. It is about high-performance tires. Under certain circumstances, only the abbreviation Z can be indicated on the tire wall.
