Welding is one of the most widely used processes and is accordingly of great importance for industry. The process is centuries old and is constantly evolving. The topic of Industry 4.0 should also be mentioned here.

Thanks to the digitization of power sources, the welding technology sector is of great importance for the industry. The topic could become even more important in the coming years.

More and more orders are being passed on to welding companies like Kovinc. We help you as a competent contact, have the machines and the necessary know-how to weld professionally.

Arc fusion welding is one of the most widely used welding processes

The most common welding process today is arc welding. An electric arc is used here. The action of heat creates a weld pool. As a result, the electrode burns and provides a connection between the respective workpieces.

The electrode has a melting effect and must inevitably be used as it serves as an additive. A distinction is made between several processes in metalworking. Manual welding is one example of arc welding.

Other process technologies are partial and fully mechanical welding. Even more often, only automatic welding is used. All in all, arc welding is essential and impresses with its precision and high quality.

The other commonly used welding processes

Of course, not only arc fusion welding is known and widely used. Other welding processes also have their raison d'ĂȘtre and that is a lot.

Primarily gas fusion welding and submerged arc welding should be mentioned here. However, gas-shielded metal arc welding and normal gas-shielded arc welding are also used comparatively frequently.

Two other processes are particularly popular - tungsten inert gas welding and plasma welding. All of these welding processes are still among the most important of all and have become an indispensable part of metal processing and, in particular, industry.

Industry is happy about the growing demand

It is not only thanks to welding that the entire industry has been happy about the growing demand in recent years. But many companies can only meet this demand to a limited extent. This is due to strongly fluctuating demand capacities, a lack of machines or a lack of specialist staff.

Accordingly, more and more companies are turning to outsourcing. You pass on orders to specialized third-party companies and can also cover the orders in this way.

In general, it seems that welding will continue to gain in importance for the industry in the coming years. In any case, it remains to be seen and of course it makes sense to look for a trustworthy partner for welding. Among other things, Kovinc is active in the field of welding and operates worldwide.
