Hermione Granger

Hermione Jean Granger(Engl.Hermione Jean Granger ) (Born September 19, 1979) is a Muggle-born witch and the daughter of the dentists and Mrs. Granger.

At age eleven, Hermione found out she was a witch and was accepted into Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. It was then sorted by Sorting Hat into Gryffindor on September 1, 1991. She turned out to be a talented student and built a close friendship with Ron Weasley and Harry Potter.

She fought in the Second Wizarding War, later was a member of the Order of the Phoenix and Harry Potter's companion on the hunt for Voldemort's Horcruxes.

Early life

Not much is known about her early childhood. She was the only child of her Muggle parents, Mr. and Mrs. Granger, who both worked as dentists in London. She was considered "commonplace" by Mr. and Mrs. Granger, although initially they were "a little irritated" by their daughter's quirks; yet they were very proud of Hermione.

In the summer of 1991, Hermione learned surprisingly that she was a witch and was allowed to attend Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. She eagerly accepted the invitation and immediately began to explore the world of sorcery. Before her first year at Hogwarts began in September 1991, she had read and studied all of her school books. In addition to her school books, Hermione read many other books that helped her understand magic and sorcery.

Hogwarts years

Hermione enjoyed her years as a student at Hogwarts, always taking classes and school rules very seriously. Her favorite subject was magic at the beginning, and later arithmetic. The only subjects she had problems with were flight lessons and fortune telling. Some students, like Terry Boot, wondered why Hermione was sorted into Gryffindor rather than Ravenclaw because of her sharp mind. Hermione admitted that the Sorting Hat had considered Ravenclaw, but then sent her to Gryffindor. In the Gryffindor Tower, Hermione shared a room with Lavender Brown, Parvati Patil, Fay Dunbar and another unnamed girl.

With her bravery and unwavering loyalty to her friends, Hogwarts and Dumbledore's army, she proved over the years that the Sorting Hat had made the right decision.

Hermione was only a few weeks away from being twelve when she boarded the Hogwarts Express in 1991. There she met Harry Potter and Ron Weasley while helping Neville Longbottom find his toad, Trevor. Hermione showed a tremendous knowledge and talent in the application of magic, which was far above that of her peers, although she had only recently learned that she was a Muggleborn witch. She wanted to go to either Gryffindor or Ravenclaw and since she was sorted into the former, her wish has been granted. Soon she was top of the class everywhere, eager to impress the teachers and help others learn. However, her somewhat opinionated behavior made it difficult for her to make friends.

Hermione kept a close eye on Harry and Ron, following them to keep them from breaking the school rules or getting into trouble. She followed them one evening as they left Gryffindor Tower to duel Draco Malfoy. They were then pursued by Argus Filch - following a tip from Draco Malfoy - and fled into the third-floor corridor, which is forbidden to students, where they came face to face with Fluffy, Hagrid's three-headed dog. Later, however, she emphasized that the sneaking out had been well worth it, since she was the only one who had observed that the dog was standing on a trap door.

The friendship of the three deepened on Halloween 1991 when they were forced to face a mountain troll. Unaware of the fact that there was a troll hanging around the school, Hermione spent all day in the girls' bathroom after Ron made rude remarks about her. The troll made his way to the loo she was in. At that moment Ron and Harry locked him in there, not realizing that Hermione was in there too. It was only when she screamed in horror that they realized her mistake and rushed to her rescue and rescue. When Professors Minerva McGonagall, Severus Snape and Quirinus Quirrell finally showed up, Hermione covered the boys. She claimed that she thought she could hold her own in the fight against the troll after reading a lot about them, and that Harry and Ron had only come to help her escape. From then on, the three students were best friends.

The incident with the troll was by no means her only adventure that year. During the first Quidditch game, she set Severus Snape's cloak on fire, thinking he was going to put a spell on Harry's broom. In the spring of 1992, Hagrid, a friend of Hermione's, managed to get a dragon egg. Hermione helped Hagrid with Harry and Ron to look after the dragon who was called Norbert. When the dragon was discovered by Draco Malfoy, she and Harry helped smuggle the dragon up the tallest tower to hand it over to some friends of Ron's older brother Charlie. They were caught in the middle of the night and given detention and 50 house points each deducted.

Fearing that Lord Voldemort would return if the Philosopher's Stone, which Harry, Hermione and Ron thought were hidden at Hogwarts, Harry decided to steal the stone first. When he told Hermione that he wanted to go alone, she turned him off. After the trio had survived Fluffy, it was Hermione who freed Ron from the noose of a devil's noose by using light blue flames. She later put Harry and herself through a Potions puzzle. She thought logically and thus allowed her best friend to move on, since there was only enough potion for one person. At the farewell party in the Great Hall, Hermione, Harry, Ron and Neville received extra points for their bravery and courage so that Gryffindor could win the house cup.

Outward appearance

Hermione had bushy brown hair, a slightly bossy voice and brown eyes. As a teenager, she had fairly large front teeth, which prompted Pansy Parkinson to compare her to a chipmunk. Poppy Pomfrey, the school healer, magically shrank her teeth in 1994 after being caught by a Densaugeo curse.

Hermione never paid much attention to her appearance, except for the 1994 Christmas ball, for which she carefully prepared. Many of her classmates were stunned that evening at how pretty Hermione looked.

Hermione wore her hair mostly loose or in a braid.

She has been described as rather plain looking, yet she caught the attention of Ronald Weasley, Viktor Krum and Cormac McLaggen during her school days because Hermione was peculiarly pretty.

Friendships and relationships

Harry Potter

Hermione befriended Harry Potter after he and Ronald Weasley saved her from a first year mountain troll. They got along well for the most part, though Harry was occasionally annoyed by Hermione's nagging. However, her only significant argument in the third year was over Harry's Firebolt, which, thanks to Hermione, was confiscated by Professor McGonagall, thinking he might be cursed. Rubeus Hagrid finally reconciled the three. Shortly thereafter, Hermione traveled through time with Harry using her time-turner to save Sirius Black and Buckbeak. That Hermione was willing to break the rules of using a time turner shows how strong their friendship was. The following year, Hermione was the only student Harry believed when he said he hadn't put his name in the goblet of fire himself. She helped him prepare for the Triwizard Tournament and tried to reconcile Harry and Ron.

Hermione was always loyal to Harry and supported him in his fight against the Death Eaters and Lord Voldemort.

Harry, for his part, was always ready to defend Hermione against others who offended her, instinctively protecting her in dangerous situations, and showing his pride in her intellect on numerous occasions.

Ron Weasley

Although Hermione's relationship with Ronald Weasley went through many ups and downs, the two maintained a good friendship for most of their school days. Both were also best friends with Harry Potter, who usually acted as mediator in disputes. It should be mentioned here that the two tended to argue more often about trivial questions. However, the two had their first big argument in their third year when Ron accused Hermione's cat Crookshanks of killing his rat Scabies. As they got older, the two of them stopped arguing so often and had to deal more with their feelings for each other.

Clues to the feelings of the two showed in their third year, when Sirius Black stood over him with a knife. Hermione was shocked, scared, and even cried. Hermione and Ron were both very awkward, embarrassed, and jealous about their feelings for each other.

In the summer of 1997 the two were closer than ever and, according to Harry, "somehow" together. They danced together at the wedding of William Weasley and Fleur Delacour and were extremely friendly with one another. During the search for the Horcruxes, Ron comforted Hermione several times by hugging her and Harry even thought he saw the two of them falling asleep hand in hand. Hermione was furious when Ron temporarily left her and Harry and cried a lot. Ron's vision, caused by a Horcrux locket, revealed the loss of Hermione to Harry as his deepest fear.

The two eventually made up again and kissed during the Battle of Hogwarts after the house-elves were rescued. The two married and had two children.

Viktor Krum

Hermione met Viktor Krum during the Triwizard Tournament. She was his sweetheart on the second task and his partner at the Christmas ball.
